Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is ringing in 2018 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 6 pounds and 5.5 ounces and measuring 19.25 inches, baby Maddox was born to mom, Kaitlin, and dad, Ben, Monday, Jan. 2, at 9:42 a.m. Baby Maddox is the family’s second child, joining four-year-old big sister, Rilyn.
Baby Maddox was delivered by SRMC OB/GYN Jessica Pugh, MD, and received newborn care from pediatrician Megan Tackett, MD.
As SRMC’s New Year’s Baby, the family received a gift basket filled with items for the newborn, including clothes, blankets, personal care items, and a large supply of diapers and wipes.
