Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) announced its first baby born in the New Year was baby Ashley, born on Friday, January 2, at 3:27 a.m. to proud parents Rosario and Juan of Gallatin. Weighing in at 9 pounds, 3.2 ounces, and 21.5 inches in length, she was delivered by SRMC OB/GYN Emily Bienvenu, M.D., and received newborn care from SRMC pediatrician Jason Kastner, M.D. As SRMC’s New Year’s Baby, the family received a gift basket filled with items for the newborn and a one-month supply of diapers and wipes.
